Founded by Ruan Breytenbach, AEMC is a multi-disciplinary professional service provider in the project management, business advisory, management consultancy, engineering and construction industries. Ruan’s strong contractual background and performance in managing projects combined with his executive experience affords him the means to design, implement, coach, influence, motivate, manage and lead teams to complete projects successfully. His ability to execute for stakeholders empowers him to coordinate and pull together the different strands of each project  and facet of business to secure successful completion and operation for project owners and shareholders.

Ruan Breytenbach
Ruan received his (BEng/BSc) Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) (First Class) in 2008 from the University of Pretoria and continued his career with one of the largest construction companies in Southern Africa and listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange where he gained invaluable experience in contractual matters. Ruan spend the next ten years in roles as part of a professional team member in Project Management, Project Engineering, Construction Management, Owner’s Engineering, Lender’s Technical Advisor and as Independent Certifier for specialist construction projects. He went on to complete his (MBA) Master of Business Administration in 2018 with the Graduate School of Business University of Cape Town, a regular to the Financial Times Top 100 MBAs in the world. The next 5 years Ruan utilised his new found knowledge combined with his strong contractual background and aptitude for leadership, management, business and unlocking for human capital to serve as executive team member of two companies. Coming from a Engineering and Construction background, Ruan also values the importance of maintaining a technical edge and does so by still taking up active project management and advisory roles for both large corporates and start-ups.
